Okay so I saw this in my daily trip through the internet and was surprised.

(note, this is something you do not have to agree with or read if you don't really want to, it is all my opinions with some facts mixed in.)

One I cannot picture you crying. It actually is rather painful to try and force that image into my brain. And two, you live in the Carter clan home. You are forged in fire and beat off on comers with a very large stick. Or so it should be... anyways i'm going off track here.

Obama made a very nice speech the other day. He was elegant with his words and gentle in his stance on the issues present. I personally think he did a huge injustice and cost him the race for presidency though.

That is if we were watching the same speech.

I personally do not like Obama. Not for a potential president mind you; as a person I'm sure he's just fine. But when he gave that speech it was the moment he lost his strong public view. He'd been holding strong against Hilary for the Democratic Nomination, but when this drama with his church bishop and the complications of his personal funds suddenly making an alarming rise mid way through an election race, (not funds used to fund the election, but personal assets and banking funds), he made this speech to try and let the people know he is not without flaws in his past and that he is here for the people. But sadly not even near the number of votes he lost came back around. He came off as wimpy and a crybaby to a large number of voters.

Obama is definitely the "young voters" choice. He speaks his mind and knows how to do it. But, elections are not normally won by the young voters. Its the older generations, i.e. baby boomers, who really pull in the winning decisions. Yes this is a problem. it was this method that won the second seat for Bush about 4 years ago now.

And I agree, what the fuck did he do with his time? I mean he seriously fucked up. I'm not one to say I could do better but he must have had some insanely deep pockets to get that second seat.

Hillary has a strong chance I think but she and Obama are both supporting this "Health care" plan to make health care affordable for everyone. Some of called this "Canadian Health Care".

But this is not near the truth. The American public has this belief that Canadian Health Care is free. Its a government tax that is taken from everyones paychecks so that everyone can have health care. Now mind you I like this idea. I think its a grand idea. BUT! it is also given to people who have no jobs and are causing nothing but issues for society by living on the streets and what not. So the idea of Canadian Health Care in the US could be amazing devastating to our debt problems with the number of homeless and unemployed sick people who come through hospitals daily.

The health care plan that both Obama and Hillary are wanting to put into action is where everyone pays the same base price for health care.

I say no. Now don't think me a evil person for that line. I do much worse things daily I assure you.

When we are younger we pay less for health care. As we get older our bodies break down and have more needs for medications and certain surgeries. This is our later years and mind you, we can prevent a great deal of it if we just work out and eat right. What the fuck do we know though. Americans say we do these things but we are one of if not the fattest country in the world.

But once again as we get older the health care rises. I'm fine with starting at the youth of our lives in prices but, Neither Hillary or Obama will state what this "affordable" health care will be. Will it be a simple 50 dollars a month or will it be a later life 150 dollars a month.

Now I'm not being paranoid about this, though it may sound it. I just want the candidates to be forward bout this issue. I've been screwed by the health care insurance system already in life and it doesn't need to get worse.

Not to sound Republican... *shiver* but Neither Hillary or Obama have the qualifications to be president. Hillary's biggest appointment is as First Lady, and a few brief years as Senator of NY. Obama having a few yeas under his belt such as, serving on the senate 1997 to 2004 means he's about the same.

Both were lawyers, one from Harvard, one from Yale. Both have had their hands skimming the political waters for years. Obama has been writing books about his views on politics and Hillary has had her hand in numbers of health care plans, including the current one. Which btw her health care plans were shot down in 94, 97, and 99.

Though she did help get 3 other very useful health programs off the ground for young children. So for that I commend her.

But even though they have had about 8 years of "High end" government experience, I wouldn't state that they are qualified to be Leader of the U.S.

Now McCain though a republican is a rather experience man. He has been in the governments hands since his graduation from Naval academy in his youth. And unlike our currently president, McCain actually has served in battle flying numbers of fighter aircraft, was a P.O.W. in Vietnam and during which time subject to torture. He's served nearly 20 years as a Senator. He also ran against Bush in 2000 but barely lost against him in the Preliminaries. so personally I think he has the most experience and the strongest chances of winning the election.

I really would enjoy seeing a female or president of other ethnicity take office. I think its about time it happened. It'd be a rough change but one that might just need to be made. I do agree with you though, I think if Obama were to be elected... he'd be killed. Some people are not going to ever be ready, and both you and I know that they are out there somewhere just polishing some arctic warfare rifle
in their underwear watching American Idol saying someone sings purdy.

I personally think that though the republican seats really don't want another president in office so soon after the mess Bush has made they are going to get one.

I would like to see what McCain can do though with his office run. He seems sane.. I use that set of words loosely. I have been known to be wrong about people before.

But when it comes time for the 2012 election I am going to be voting for the current speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. She is goal driven, has a kind but firm presence and shares many political views that or younger generations see as needs for our country. If anyone is the first non-white male president of the U.S. i would put my money on her.

Well now you know (if you read this far) some about the currently political issues that are up for the votes in this Novembers coming elections. The NDC is going to be a rough one this year so it should be good to watch. Neither Obama or Hillary can go forward though until then. Hope this made you interested a little bit more about what is going on and hope you make a informed vote for whom ever you decide you'd like to have as your president.

And thanks for helping kill about an hour of my working day.

Lateron,

How come these sites are not more popular? It seems that most things on the internet are there strictly for profit. Would it be too hard for people to pay attention to sites that save the world.
