“Twitter is the new Facebook”?

I don’t think so… Twitter is fucking annoying. I don’t understand the point of Twitter, as I have said many times, it’s like those annoying people who update their AIM away messages with, “Lunch with Brandon at 12:05, then the Rec for 2 hours, then Chem class, then Home. Call the cell! <3.” NO one gives a shit! So shut up! You don’t have that many friends on AIM that care where you are every 5 minutes of your life! But according to this idiot, Twitter is going to take over where Facebook left off. Whatever. You can make as many declarative statements on the internet citing sources as much as you want, it doesn’t make it true!

Hey, NationalGeographic.com just said that digesting liquid bleach will help cure acne! It’s true because I cited it! And I used an exclamation point!

The truth is, Twitter is fucking annoying, not easy to use, and even more stalker-ish than Facebook ever will be. And Twitter is full of random people posting random little twitters that don’t even make sense. I’m not going to add Twitter notifications to my cellphone so I can get up to the minute updates from all of my friends, because I like having money, and I’m sure Verizon wouldn’t really like to give me that for free. And even if they did, I doooon’t care.

So, it just pisses me off when people get hyped up just from one person’s opinion. I found this post in one of the top articles on Popurls and thought it was ridiculous. Twitter is dumb and I hope it never catches on. That’s my opinion.
