So, this website (which isn’t running yet, I would love to check it out) is something like a Facebook/Match.com hybrid, used to find friends online based on surveys, tests, etc. Even someone shy/detached like me can see how much a person has to give up on themselves to actually stoop to the level of having an internet database match you up with people to be friends with you. It would be so much easier just to go sit in a library and start talking to someone. I mean, even if this is over the internet, you’re going to eventually have to talk to the person. Unless it will turn out like Facebook, where you can pretty much friend everyone and have 500 Miami “friends” in your network.
